A very tired post

My last post was quite a while ago. Since then, I had Yuko to stay and visited home - both were good.

It's been a strange couple of weeks. Everyone is a little down, everything feels a little shook up, but I'm coping well and feeling pretty positive. Work has involved some profound statements as of late - for example in my gender roles essay: "women are the ones that give birth". Good work.

Ducks sleep with half of their brains at a time so they can keep watch with the other half - this is how I feel at the moment, only half of my brain is working.

I finished my illustration for the magazine, theme "Play for Time":

(*click for detail - photocopy transfer, collage, white gouache, letraset, black ink, fineliner, photoshop)

Currently listening to:
The Sound of Silence - Simon & Garfunkel
Let Go - Frou Frou
Phantom Limb - The Shins
Dizzy - The Wonderstuff & Vic Reeves
Brimful of Asha (Norman Cook Remix) - Cornershop
Now You're Gone - Basshunter
Johanna - Sweeney Todd soundtrack
Coffee and TV - Blur
Staralfur - Sigur Rós

Apologies for disjointedness... I need an early night.

ha! i'm planning to get deeper with the gender essay, make it a queer sci-fi and suppose in the future men could be giving birth. how week-five-makes-me-a-retard is that?

mmm.... can't think of any really deep quotes from my last essays but I'm sure I did say sth really amusing like "gift exchange consists in exchanging gifts..."
quite asleep too... my brain is not working at all, week 5 blues they call it... not sure about the name, but know I need a break! still running in caffeine and adrenaline for being here tho!!
