Andrew and I went to a bar in London. We saw a band made up of a tiny Japanese girl with a lazy eye in a vintage dress and sneakers rocking out on electric guitar, an old Japanese woman (her mother?) in black leather knee high boots bopping around at the back of the stage, a long-haired ginger front man in a flowery shirt and a black saxophonist in a farmer's cap.
London is full of characters -
On the tube: a bald sixteen-year-old in a knitted cardigan with a nose ring, and his gothic red lipped girlfriend.
In the office: the large emo lesbian who loves taxidermy.
On the art course: the long-haired guy in the army jacket who loves to draw manga, but has come on an art course with mostly middle-aged women who draw sheep and squirrels for children's books. Needless to say, I am also a little out of place.
